RE: International changes of sending mail
Hi - I informed all current buyers and their choice. Some in Belgium, Italy, UK and Germany still wanted to have the slides send as general letter - and ALL arrived…..

Thus, might seem some/most local postal unions/customs are not (yet) applying these new rules, layed out by the World Postal Union?

Anybody other opinion/experience?

International changes of sending mail
Hi,

As I learned recently, there's had been an change in sending goods per mail since january 1st, 2020. This affects all who send slides international. The main bottom is , all goods sends will be seen as an parcel, even if it is one slide. The costs however, will be the same , with an maximum of 100gr. Meaning that sending 13 or just 1 slide cost €10,- !

This is coming from our national mail carrier ;
Shipments containing goods may no longer be franked
with stamps. They can be sent as parcels without Track and
Trace, even if the goods are put in an envelope.
